What Social Space Is
Social Space is:
-
A structured day program
-
Activity-led, with clear sessions and routines
-
Designed for participants who want to learn life skills in a fun, social way, within smaller groups
-
Flexible, without being chaotic
Skill development sits at the core of the program. Activities are designed to support social skills, daily living skills, fine motor skills, communication, and confidence, all within real, hands-on group activities rather than classroom-style learning.

Program Design
Social Space has been intentionally designed with neurodivergent participants in mind, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, Down syndrome, and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.

The program uses small group sizes, clear routines, and carefully planned activities to support skill development, including social skills, daily living skills, fine motor skills, communication, and confidence. Activities are practical and hands-on, allowing participants to build skills naturally through shared experiences rather than formal instruction.

Social Space works best for participants whose goals include building independence, developing social and everyday skills, and participating in structured, supported group environments.
