Looking for a relaxed and inclusive evening NDIS adult social group on the Gold Coast?
Board Game Night is designed for adults aged 18 and over who enjoy games, conversation, and supported social connection in a calm and welcoming environment. This small-group program provides an opportunity to build friendships, confidence, and communication skills while enjoying friendly competition and shared experiences.
Board Game Night supports NDIS goals related to social participation, confidence-building, and community engagement. The group provides structured but relaxed support, allowing participants to engage at their own pace in a safe and supported setting.
Each fortnight, participants enjoy a mix of classic board games, strategy games, team challenges, and lighthearted party favourites. Sessions are guided by experienced support staff to encourage inclusion, conversation, and positive social interaction without pressure or performance expectations.
Group Details
📅 When: Thursday evenings, 4:00pm – 8:00pm (fortnightly)
📍 Where: The Hub, 9 Price Street, Nerang (drop-off & pick-up available)
🔢 Support Ratio: 1:2 (1:1 available if required)
💰 NDIS Rate: $37.70 per hour (Core – Community Access/Group 1:2 Rate + Centre Capital Costs $2.59/hr)
💵 Out-of-Pocket Cost: $0
🍿 Snacks: Light snacks and nibbles provided (chips, dip, and refreshments etc)
🚐 Transport: Optional pick-ups & drop-offs available (quoted individually)
👥 Group Size: Up to 12 participants (small, inclusive tables with chill-out space available)
We’ve designed the space to stay social but comfortable; two large tables for board gameplay, a smaller table for quieter groups, and a gaming/movie room for anyone who wants a sensory break or a change of pace.
