Finding the right NDIS group program can make a huge difference to confidence, connection, and overall wellbeing.
At Loving Life Support Services, our Sunshine Coast NDIS group programs are designed to be welcoming, purposeful, and genuinely enjoyable, not overwhelming, and definitely not “one-size-fits-all”.
We offer small, supportive groups where participants can build skills, form real connections, and feel comfortable being themselves.
What types of NDIS Social Group do we offer on the Sunshine Coast?
Our Sunshine Coast groups currently focus on:
Social groups Supporting connection, communication, and confidence in a relaxed, inclusive environment.
Arts and crafts programs Creative, hands-on sessions that encourage self-expression, focus, and social interaction.
All of our groups run on an ongoing basis, rather than short-term or drop-in sessions. This allows participants to build routine, familiarity, and genuine relationships over time.

Group numbers are capped (usually up to 8 participants) to ensure everyone receives the attention and support they need.
Who are our NDIS Sunshine Coast Social Groups best suited for?
Our groups are open to participants of all ages, and we currently support a mix of young adults and older adults, while actively welcoming younger participants who are ready to explore group-based supports.
Participants who tend to thrive in our groups include those who:
enjoy social connection but prefer smaller, calmer groups
benefit from structure and routine
want to build confidence, independence, and social skills
enjoy creative or hands-on activities
are looking for more than just “something to do” — they want purpose and belonging
While our groups are supportive and inclusive, they may not be the right fit for participants who require highly intensive behavioural support in large or fast-paced group environments. We’re always happy to talk this through and help families find the best option.
Support ratios and purpose
Our Sunshine Coast group programs are typically delivered at a 1:2 support ratio, ensuring participants are well supported while still encouraging independence and peer interaction.
1:1 support can also be provided within group settings where required, depending on individual needs and funding.
Most importantly, our groups are capacity-building focused. While they’re fun and engaging, every session has a purpose — whether that’s building social skills, confidence, communication, creativity, or everyday independence.
Where do our NDIS Sunshine Coast Social Groups run?
Our group programs operate across the Sunshine Coast, using a mix of:
hub-based sessions
community-based locations and outings
This flexibility allows us to tailor programs to participants’ interests while helping them build real-world skills in meaningful settings.
A supportive, community-focused approach
We know that joining a group can feel like a big step both for participants and families alike.
That’s why we take the time to:
understand individual needs and goals
ensure the group is the right fit
create a welcoming, respectful environment where participants feel safe and valued
Our aim is not just participation, but connection, confidence, and enjoyment.
