Quiet Connections is a relaxed, social program designed for NDIS participants who thrive in calm, low-pressure environments.
It’s the perfect space to connect, unwind, and take part in gentle activities that support confidence, communication, and emotional regulation, all at your own pace.
Whether you’d rather chat quietly, listen to music, do something creative, or simply enjoy being around others, this group provides structure without stress and support without pressure.
Group Details
📅 When: Thursdays 9am - 5pm (Participants may attend for all or part of the day and can arrive and leave at times that suit their needs.)
📍 Where: The Hub, Nerang
🔢 Support Ratio: 1:2 (1:1 available if required)
💰 NDIS Rate: $37.70/hr (Core – Community Access/Group 1:2 Rate + Centre Capital Costs $2.59/hr)
💵 Out-of-Pocket Cost: $0
🍴 Food: Snacks & Lunch prepared together each session
🚐 Transport: Optional pick-ups & drop-offs available (quoted individually)

What We Do:
🎧 Listen to music and create shared playlists
🎧 Try relaxing creative activities like art or journaling
🎧 Play co-operative games and Switch/PS5 sessions
🎧 Connect through conversation, laughter and shared interests
Every session is participant led and focuses on self-expression, confidence and connection, helping participants regulate, socialise and develop skills for everyday life.
