Looking for a safe, inclusive space where teens can make friends, try new things, and have fun every weekend?
Loving Life’s Teens Social Group is a weekly NDIS social group for teenagers aged 13–19, run every Saturday at our welcoming Hub in Nerang on the Gold Coast.
Designed to support teens with ASD, intellectual disability, or psychosocial needs, this program helps young people build confidence, social skills, and genuine friendships, all in a relaxed and supportive environment.
With a 1:2 support ratio and a maximum group size of 8 participants, every teen is seen, heard, and included.
Group Details
📅 When: Every Saturday
⏰ Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible attendance — participants may attend for all or part of the day)
📍 Where: The Hub, Nerang
🔢 Support Ratio: 1:2
💰 NDIS Rate: $52.00/hr (Core Funding – 1:2 Saturday Core Rate + Centre Capital Costs)
🍽️ Meals & Snacks: Lunch is included at every session, whether we’re cooking together or grabbing food as a group
🎟️ Activity Costs: All activity costs are included unless otherwise stated in advance
🚐 Transport: Optional drop-off and pick-up available
👥 Group Size: Up to 8 participants
Sessions are relaxed, structured, and designed to support social connection at a comfortable pace.
What We Do:
Each session is packed with fun, age-appropriate activities that are chosen by the group, so every week is something new!
Examples of past and planned activities include:
🎤 Karaoke + Game Tournaments
🍕 Cooking competitions and DIY lunches
🎨 Art days and creative projects
🎬 Movie days at the Hub with themed snacks
🧠 Team games and problem-solving challenges
We plan together as a group at the end of each session, giving every teen a voice and a reason to come back.
