Social connection under the NDIS does not have to be loud, fast-paced, or overwhelming.
Kindness Club is a weekly NDIS social group on the Gold Coast designed for participants who want meaningful connection, gentle structure, and a sense of purpose in a calm, supportive environment.
Run at our Nerang Hub, this group focuses on kindness, community connection, and emotional wellbeing. It offers a low-pressure alternative to traditional social programs while still supporting participant goals around confidence, participation, and community access.
What Is Kindness Club?
Kindness Club is an NDIS social group on the Gold Coast that combines social connection with intention and purpose.
Rather than focusing on high-energy entertainment, this group centres around simple acts of kindness, reflection, and shared experiences. Participants take part in activities that promote empathy, self-worth, and a sense of belonging, both toward others and themselves.
Each session follows a gentle, predictable structure, with flexibility built in to support different energy levels, communication styles, and emotional needs.
What Happens in This NDIS Social Group?
Each week looks slightly different, but sessions commonly include:
Creating kindness projects such as cards, care packs, or small community gifts
Preparing items to donate or deliver to local organisations
Mindfulness, gratitude, and reflection activities
Supported group conversations and peer connection
Calm creative activities that encourage self-expression
Some sessions remain onsite at The Hub, while others include short, supported community outings connected to the kindness activities.
Participation is always optional. Choice, pacing, and emotional safety are prioritised at all times.

Why NDIS Social Groups Like This Matter
Many NDIS participants want connection, but struggle in environments that are busy, unpredictable, or socially demanding.
A well-designed NDIS social group on the Gold Coast should:
Reduce social pressure rather than increase it
Support emotional regulation and psychological safety
Encourage genuine connection rather than forced interaction
Build confidence through shared, meaningful experiences
Kindness Club was created with these needs in mind. It offers a space where participants can show up as they are, connect at their own pace, and feel valued within a group.
A Values-Based Approach to Community Participation
At Loving Life, we believe community participation is about more than simply “getting out of the house”.
Kindness Club supports participants to experience purpose, belonging, and connection in ways that feel safe, respectful, and achievable. It is an NDIS social group on the Gold Coast built on care, consistency, and meaningful engagement.
